Rising Pune Supergiant and Delhi Daredevils are locking horns for a much-needed victory for both the IPL outfits. RPS succeeded in winning their first match but failed to do so in their second. Meanwhile, DD has played only a single game and could not deliver well in the game. The curse of being in the bottom section of the points table has not left DD and they will be trying to change that with this upcoming match.
Both RPS and DD will be going to the ground expecting the big guns to fire but both teams have proved that local talents like Manoj Tiwary or Pawan Negi can indeed become handy enough to pull off a surprise. On paper DD is the stronger bowling side and RPS the stronger batting side. What happens in the match could be totally worth spending 4 hours for!

Our Prediction – IPL 9th Match RPS vs DD winner
Rising Pune Supergiant. Our prediction is based on the fact even though RPS failed to win their second match, both of the matches has shown their players rising up to the match situation. Also, we have to keep in mind that RPS has never succeeded in defending a target. However, the squad is performing much better than what they did last year. Delhi Daredevils have also shown some class in the last match but lost grip when the pressure increased making us doubt their ability to finish off this match successfully against RPS.
Considering how the team owners have been commenting on MSD we are expecting some due action from him as well. Multiple players like Steven Smith, Ajinkya Rahane, Ben Stokes and Manoj Tiwary are in form and making them all the more dangerous. For Delhi, the bowling line up seems a lot stronger with Zak, Nadeem, Chris Morris and Cummins performing reasonably well in their first match. Rishabh Pant was the only one who did well with the bat but we are expecting a stronger fight from DD in this game for a much-required win.
